Come to our Sunday Outdoor Worship Service OR Listen to Rev. Solomona’s sermon from today’s 10AM Sunday Worship Livestream on our Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/ccmla. Reflect on the Text Notes and Life Notes below.

Sermon Main Idea: Christ makes us free to believe boldly.

-What does it mean to ‘believe boldly’?

-What factors in the world seek to deter Christians from believing boldly?

-What factors within ourselves deter us from believing boldly?

Text Notes: Peter is filled with the Holy Spirit (v.8-12). The Apostles have been with Jesus (v.13-16). The Apostles are certain of Christ’s resurrection (v.17-22).

– How can we be certain of Christ’s resurrection today?

Life Note: Bold belief comes from connection to Christ.

– How does connection to Christ impact the boldness of our belief?

– How is bold belief different from imposing belief?

Prayer: Loving God, thank You for Your truth upon which I can stand. Thank You for Your Gospel which freed me from sin and saved me for Your purposes. Help me to move forward boldly in my faith in You. for In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
