Sunday Message: The Irreplaceable Ingredient

October 24, 2021

Today’s Reading: Acts 19:11-20

One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”

Acts 19:15

Sermon Main Idea: SERVICE to Christ requires SURRENDER to Christ. There is no substitute.

Text Notes:

  • God uses UNUSUAL means to meet people with His mercy. (v.11-12)
  • God will not be used for HUMAN purposes. (v.13-16)
  • God WORKS to set people free from sin. (v.17-20)

Prayer: LORD God, thank You for continuing to further Your Kingdom, and for the privilege of being able to partake in the work You set before us Your people. Thank You for all that You’ve done to set us free from sin. Thank You for not giving in to our own purposes, but for working in Your sovereignty. Please align us with Your will, LORD. Help us to increasingly trust in You. In Jesus’ Name I pray, AMEN.
